SUNDAY CLUB

The Project
Volunteers visit Ditchburn Place, a sheltered accommodation complex in Mill Road, to share tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits with the elderly residents who live there. There is often some form of entertainment - music, a visiting juggler or belly dancer, bingo, or sometimes the afternoon takes for form of just a pleasant sit and chat. The residents really look forward to meeting our volunteers (and regularly embarrass them by telling them how wonderful they are!). If you want to be appreciated, can be free most Sunday afternoons, and want to make a difference to the lives of some really great people, become a 'Sunday Clubber'

Time Commitment
2 - 4pm on Sunday afternoons, frequency sometimes flexible.

Volunteers are also needed to provide entertainment on a one-off basis
