The Project
Can you sing or play an instrument? If so, could share Wednesday evenings with the residents of local sheltered housing or residential homes? Volunteers travel by minibus to different venues each week to provide entertainment in the form of sing-alongs, group performances, solos or occasional readings. They enjoy sharing refreshments and chatting with the residents during the evening - an aspect as important as the entertainment. Volunteers of all musical standards are very welcome, with enthusiasm and willingness to join in being the only essential qualifications.

Time Commitment
The project takes place on Wednesday’s during term time, usually between 7pm and 9.30pm.

Other Information
Also drivers for the minibus are always needed. For this you need to be over 21, have a clean driving licence, and to have been driving for at least 2 years. DRIVERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE MUSICAL - and you can join in with the evening's activities or not - the choice is yours!
